Departments from across Harrison County gathered in Jamestown over the weekend for a Joint Department Information Booth & Vehicle Showcase, a joint event mounted by nine county and municipal agencies.
Who Took Part
Each participating agency set up an information booth and a vehicle display for community members to visit throughout the event. The departments represented were:
- Harrison County Militia (HCM)
- Harrison County Fire and Rescue (HCFR)
- Harrison County Parks and Recreation (HCPR)
- Harrison County Transportation Authority (HCTA)
- Harrison County Post Office (HCPO)
- Harrison County Weather Service (HCWS)
- Harrison County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO)
- Jamestown Police Department (JPD)
- Kaslo Township Police Department (KTPD)
The Sheriff’s Office Account
In a statement released following the event, the Sheriff’s Office called the turnout a “huge success,” thanking community members and department staff for coming out to showcase vehicles, share information about their agencies, and take part in the event.
The office also credited Game Administrators Piggy142 and GeneralLPrince for their help organizing the event, including setting up department tents, establishing a safezone, and assisting with moderation throughout.
