These terms apply to theharrisonindependent.org, including our reader polls. By using the site, you agree to them. The Harrison Independent is an independently operated publication covering a Roblox roleplay community. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation, and we are not the Harrison County government or its Electoral Commission.
Our Reporting
Articles, ratings, and the Election Outlook reflect the reporting and judgment of our staff at the time of publication. Ratings are our assessment, not a prediction we guarantee. We correct errors when we find them. If you believe something we published is wrong, contact us through our Discord server.
Our articles, graphics, and site design belong to The Harrison Independent. You may link to and quote short portions of our work with credit. Do not republish whole articles or images without permission. Headshots and screenshots of community members remain the property of their owners.
Reader Polls
Reader polls are unofficial and self-selected. Results reflect only the readers who chose to vote. They are not official Electoral Commission ballots, do not affect any election, and do not change our Election Outlook ratings.
Voting requires signing in with Roblox. When you use poll sign-in, you also remain subject to the Roblox Terms of Use. You agree to:
- Vote only with your own Roblox account.
- Not use alternate accounts, borrowed accounts, scripts, or bots to vote or to submit ballots in bulk.
- Not try to get around voting limits, interfere with the site, or access data that isn't yours.
You can change your ballot while a poll is open. We may remove ballots we reasonably believe break these rules, close or correct a poll, or block accounts from future polls. How poll information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
The site and polls are provided as they are. We may change, pause, or remove any page or poll at any time, and we do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, The Harrison Independent is not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its content.
Links to Other Sites
We link to Roblox, Discord, and other sites we don't control. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
